Komagatake Yakushima Aging

A single malt whisky distilled at the Mars Shinshu Distillery and aged in Yakushima, a World Natural Heritage island located approximately 60 km southwest of mainland Kagoshima. From the Marusu Yakushima aging cellar, we mainly use raw sake aged in bourbon barrels. A sweet scent such as vanilla custard gradually opens onto the juicy and refreshing scent of citrus fruits and the light scent of peat. The taste is also solid and fruity, and the whisky is finished to make you feel aging in the tropical country. Please enjoy the rare malt that has slept in the Yakushima Desert.
