The Tobermory distillery produces two single malt whiskies alternating for six months: the unpeated "Tobermory" and the heavily peated "Ledaig". Different barley varieties are used to make the two whiskies, but then they are distilled in the same stills. Ledaig single malt is a smooth, smoky whisky, known for its strong personality, made exclusively with highly peated malt - the result is an exquisite whisky with delicious marine flavors.
